Requesting approval of a Resolution of appreciation for Jim Hays for his many years of service as a Commissioner to the Modoc County Planning Commission.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

OF THE COUNTY OF MODOC

IN PROFOUND APPRECIATION OF JIM HAYS

FOR HIS TWENTY-THREE (23) YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COUNTY OF MODOC

AS A MODOC COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSIONER

              WHEREAS, Jim Hays, has served as a member of the Modoc County Planning Commission for twenty three (23) years since his appointment on May 20 of 1997; and

              WHEREAS, his dedication and commitment to the communities of Modoc County has been extraordinary due to his service on various other boards and his general support of improving the County of Modoc; and

              WHEREAS, as a result of this action, the Board of Supervisors would like to recognize his leadership ability, his years of service to the County of Modoc, and his guidance as a Commissioner on the Modoc County planning Commission; and

              NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we the Board of Supervisors, do hereby extend our sincere and grateful appreciation to Jim Hays in recognition and profound appreciation of his dedication and service to the County of Modoc.
